We are a group of people who have come together over the years through various social associations and share some common ethos, a strong bond with our Bengali roots and the unquenched thirst to give back to society. Having tried various options, we felt the best way to reduce friction and get on with enjoying our culture and values is to start fresh keeping some common guiding principles in front of us:

* No personal profiteering from the social activities

* Maintain transparency in finances

* Share fun and enjoyment while promoting and holding our Bengali values and culture close to our heart

* Bring together all generations of Probashi Bangali in the ways they want to engage

* Give back to the society both in the UK and back home through meaningful charitable work

* Create an environment to bring out the best in all the team members and value their contributions
